JUNIOR TRAINING SESSIONS

School years 3,4,5 and 6 (Girls and Boys) - Indoor.
Junior indoor sessions run on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm at Westfield Community School, Stiby Road, Yeovil, BA21 3EP in the sports hall. For a map to the school please click here for the school website's 'find us' page.

Training dates for 2009/10 season
Tuesdays
8th September 2009 - 15th December 2009
There will be no training on Tuesday 27th October 2009 during halfterm week.
5th January 2010 - 30th March 2010
There will be no training on Tuesday 16th February 2010 during halfterm week.
Thursdays
3rd September 2009 - 10th December 2009
There will be no training on Thursday 29th October 2009 during halfterm week.
7th January 2010 - 1st April 2010
There will be no training on Thursday 18th February 2010 during halfterm week.

FEES and ADMINISTRATION
Training - £2 per session.
Match Fees - £2
Annual Membership - £20 for first child with reductions for 2 or more children in the same family.
Please complete and let us have your membership form as soon as possible (with the annual fee), preferably at the first training session, and please do put in all your contact details, particularly mobile phone and email address, and relevant medical information.
Kit and Equipment
For their own protection we ask that all players wear shin pads and a mouth guard when training and playing matches. Club polo shirts and sweatshirts are available and a special order form will be available from the beginning of the season.

U16 Boys EH Cup

Yate 0 Yeovil & Sherborne 5

This was an accomplished, comfortable victory against a good Yate team that certainly troubled YSHC for most of the first half before the visitors woke up and began playing good passing hockey. There was a well-taken hat-trick by Lewis Guest and a brace for Ed Matts, who was also denied by some very committed goalkeeping! The whole team worked hard and were determined to keep a clean sheet with Brodie Bowes impressing as he stepped up to U16 level. Yate were very amenable hosts.
We now face an away trip to Ashmoor in the third round which will provide a sizeable challenge after their comprehensive win over Team Bath Buccs.
