Beaminster Ladies 3 Yeovil & Sherborne Ladies 2nds 3
Yeovil got off to another slow start with Beaminster scoring in the first 10 minutes of the game. Yeovil fought back with a lovely pass from Eve Hill into Millie Bonney who equalised. With a great team effort Yeovil began to pressure Beaminster, Millie Bonney finding Zoe Hodson in the D for her to put Yeovil ahead with a reverse sweep into the back of the net. After half time Yeovil pushed again getting a short corner. Pushing out was Eve Hill to Di Darch who after a tackle from a defender managed to keep possesion, with a strike to the left hand corner of the goal putting Yeovil 3-1 up. Beaminster responded with another goal and in the dying seconds of the game Beaminster equalised but this was a much better performance from Yeovil with Tracey White and Millie Bonney standing out as the best players.
